That is really annoying actually. I suppose I could eat in the bar portion of the restaurant so I don’t have to hurry, but then I have to deal with the smokers while I am eating and that I do not want to do. It is a damned if I do and damned if I don’t situation. No matter though, I know that I am going to end up there anyway, so why complain about it. I want my steak and eat it too as they say. Well, they usually say that about cake, but whatever works right? Anyway, if anyone wants to join me tonight, give me a holler. Later gators.

I wonder how many they will make. I am not sure this one will do as well as the previous ones though, but you never can tell. Car enthusiasts will of course love it, especially the younger generations. If it is fast and illegal they are going to pay to see it. I am not sure what exactly that says about our society, but it doesn’t sound good. Oh well, I am not worrying about society today.

All of my shelves are packed full. As a matter of fact, I am taking them to donate to Goodwill for others to enjoy. I have a really nice collection of books too. I will probably get rid of the paperback ones first and hold on to the hard cover ones as they are worth more money. I want to get a couple of them signed by the authors if they ever come to town for book signings. Especially my Clive Cussler’s. He is my favorite author after all.

They pass laws that are not remotely what the people want, that benefit only them and no one else. If they had to live on social security, they wouldn’t threaten to take it away constantly. They don’t have to, because they made sure they didn’t have to. I believe that everyone of the politicians who voted for acts that were against the constitution should be charged with criminal violation of the constitution and jailed. They are no better than common criminals and deserve to be treated as such. I am tired of watching this country go down hill because of self serving politicians.

I got tired of them running out of gas on the last lap last year. I can’t count how many races they could have actually won had they planned better gas wise. It’s irritating to see that over and over again, but not this year. They are just flat on it. His daddy would be very proud of him if he was still alive. I know that he is proud of him where ever he is, watching down on him. I really miss Dale Sr. though. I know that Nascar lost a living legend when that man died, but his son is carrying on tradition and racing with his fathers determination and style.

This is the most expensive part, because a good lift and suspension can cost a pretty penny if you want a really good one and I do. I intend for this to be a monster truck eventually, complete with monster fucking tires. Big Foot and Grave Digger are my inspirations. I grew up watching them on TV and every event I could get to. I went to a lot of them. I am hoping that my truck will be done by the end of summer. That is when all of the major mud fests are and I would love to compete.

There is a hot dog joust. Well, really it is a catch kind of thing. The chick rides on the back of the bike and tries to catch the hot dog with her teeth as you ride under it. It is really funny. I know my girl would love to do the coleslaw wrestling as well. She is a lot of fun and down for just about anything. Maybe next year we will go, but if we are going to I guess I should start planning it now. The hotels are booked a year in advance for bike week. I had better get on it.

We play stupid games and a lot of darts too. I don’t think I know one Irishman who can’t play darts. My favorite thing about it, is the toasts. We all have to come up with a good Irish toast and that is not as easy as it sounds. I am still working on a good one. They have to be completely original and that shit isn’t easy either. This is one of my favorite ones;

The only thing I am not looking forward to is the cost of going to the fucking theater. They have gotten ridiculously expensive. It’s bad enough that the door price has gone up, but the snacks are astronomical. Pop corn should not cost ten dollars for a damned bucket. Inflation has sky rocketed so badly that even the most simple shit has gotten unbelievably expensive. Oh well, I shouldn’t bitch about it too much, because at least I can afford it when not many people can now a days. I hope the girlfriend is ready on time tonight, because she is always running late.

I am going to order some and have it shipped here to my house, so I can make some too. I might invite my parents over for dinner to try it. They were like chicken nuggets, only they were breaded and then deep fried. It was really tender and so tasty. The place my buddy tried it is called Coopertown. They apparently have a restaurant and airboat rides. I will have to visit there if I ever go to Florida. It is somewhere out in the Everglades outside of Miami. I wouldn’t mind going to Miami at all, especially South Beach and the Keys. I have been to Orlando before, but not any further south then that.

I am lucky in that I have an amazing big screen TV to watch it on, with Surround Sound that rocks! It will literally make you feel as if you were there. You can feel the rumble of the engines through the speakers, it sounds so good. That is awesome in my opinion. I love my tech gadgets and electronics. There are so many that are so fun to play with. I will never stop upgrading my  equipment ever. Have an awesome day.

Anyway, I borrowed her car while she was at work and left her mine. I gave her some crazy story about it not running well and I had to go to the Auto parts store for something. I had already set up for the guys to install it in record time, instead of leaving it over night. I wanted to surprise her of course. Boy was she surprised. I gave her the keys and slid in the passenger side on the pretext of talking to her. When she started the car the stereo was turned up loud and she had to turn it down. The look on her face was priceless. A total success.

I first started going back thru old emails and found out that a couple of my friends were inspired by my blog and started up there own blog so I wanted to give them a shout out because they are awesome people and blogs and you should be reading them to. First is Larry who has a very cute looking WordPress theme and blogs about anything interesting in life including his dogs.

The second is Debra Baker who is a friend from way back but still stay in touch every so often and is located at the links on her name, lol. I wonder who else has started up a blog recently that I know?

I know yahoo has a lot going on, and it must be crazy trying to keep all the various departments abreast of each new development and changes, but there needs to be someone testing the end user experience more I think.

Recently I tried to install the yahoo toolbar on a friends system and had so much trouble trying to get a way to make the anti-spyware button appear so I could do a scan, that I ended up getting into yahoo answers, only to find that someone else had the same problem and it appears that the anti-spy button will not work currently with windows vista – this should have been noted on the yahoo toolbar download page, which has the spyware benefit listed as one of the top reasons for getting it.

I also found a link for the best date foods and another for successful first date tips. When I clicked the link I was brought to a yahoo video page and did not see the video that had anything to do with date foods, and the link for successful first date tips was a link to a search through yahoo – which isn’t bad, just not what I expected.
